Regulatory Compliance and/or certification
A customs-bonded warehouse is a secured facility supervised by customs authorities where dutiable landed imports may be stored or manipulated, pending re-export without payment of import duties. Bonded cargo can be stored for up to 5 years.
Approved by US Customs and Boarder Protection (CBP) as a secured area where dutiable goods may be imported, stored, manipulated and exported without payment of duty. Bonded and non-bonded cargo can be consolidated and stored for a maximum of 15 days for re-export.

TSA has authority over the security of the traveling public within the United States and checks that the activities of companies transporting goods, or people are safe and legal.
Refers to any person or entity within the United States, not in possession of a Federal Aviation Administration air carrier operating certificate, which undertakes to engage indirectly in air transportation of property and uses for all or any part of such transportation the services of an air carrier. IAC must adopt and carry out a security program that meets current TSA requirements and is renewed annually.
